The naming and commendation was jointly carried out by 23 member units of the Organizing Committee of the national “Youth Model Unit” creating activity, including the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Supreme People’s Court of the People’s Republic of China, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China. After several procedures such as comprehensive survey, level-by-level recommendation and reporting, centralized audit, and public notice, the Decision on Naming the 20th National Youth Model Unit Award was conjointly released to commend a group of young collectives in the new era with excellent political quality, preeminent professional ethics, advanced professional skills, good work style, and bodacious performance. 1881 creating collective were named as “the 20th National Youth Model Unit”, and Country Garden Center Property Branch Company appeared on the list.

The Country Garden Center Property Branch Company of Country Garden Services Holdings Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Center Property Company”) was established in 2013. Having 195 regular employees, 106 of whom are under 35 years old with an average age of 28, and 88 of whom are members of the Communist Youth League, it is a young team full of vigor, courage, and pioneering spirit, undertaking staff services, visitor reception and conference services, security and order guarantee, facility and equipment maintenance and environmental greening services of Country Garden headquarters building. Center Property Company has always been adhering to the corporate mission of “services contribute to a better life”, with the goal of ‘maximizing basic services with ingenuity’ to perform headquarters services on following the corporate values of “professionalism, sincerity, innovation, integrity, and performance”.

Ⅰ. Improving Team Quality and Constructing a First-class Talent Team

The company attaches equal emphasis on professionalism and integrating skills, makes every effort to improve team construction, and builds a team with high quality, excellent professionalism, outstanding performance, and fine image through multiple channels. It has taken following measures: First, enhancing ‘service capability’. Normalized training are organized to study with problems on the basis of reality, and training for backbone skills as well as primary-level service are conducted in a centralized and on-site manner to familiarize business content and enhance business capability. At the same time, ‘Bixuetang’ and other industry official accounts are used for further learning. About 190 online and offline training on average are carried out every year. Besides, all the staff take up their posts after passing the training and assessment, constantly improving employees’ service awareness and expanding their professional skills. Second, promoting ‘competence’. Emergency rescue teams have been established, emergency management procedures have been formulated, and fire emergency drills, elevator distress drills, and natural disaster emergency drills have been organized, conducting no less than 20 drills every year, with at least 60 people per drill. Third, improving ‘cohesion’. Regularly organizing Party members and members of the Communist Youth League to participate in diverse forms of activities, such as visiting rural for poverty alleviation, anti-drug and anti-fraud publicity, knowledge contest, and outstanding staff commending conference, so as to increase employee motivation.

The cornerstone of Country Garden Services is how it priotises being customer-oriented. Center Property Company is constantly improving its service standards for satisfying customer needs. Firstly, by raising service efficiency with running service. The company understands the most urgent demand for the ‘three mores’ (more listening, more visiting, and more contact), treats employees’ affairs as our own, solves problems for employees in their place, and tackles approximately 60 demands every day, maintaining monthly customer satisfaction more than 98%, so as to boost employee happiness with meticulous service and promote employee satisfaction with service quality. Secondly, by promoting service level with smile service. Combining ‘Youth Model Unit’ construction with ‘smile service’ to form a long-term mechanism, integrating with practice to form a smile service specification, and holding symposiums as well as training seminars on smile service to promote service quality to a deep, diversified, and high level. For instance, the company erects image service post, a ‘zero-distance’ innovative form of smile service to answer any sources of confusion. Thirdly, by upgrading service quality with professional service. The company establishes and improves standardized management process and personalized service content, for example headquarters receptions and business visits, where the company provides professional guides to offer reception and visitation services, with an annual reception of around 1,300. Additionally, the company proposed 10 brilliant ideas which were adopted by the Country Garden General Department, contributing to the energy saving and emission reduction of the headquarters building.

Ⅲ. Manifesting ‘Service Consciousness’ Under Special Circumstances

The company strives for excellence in basic services, kept calm in the face of the epidemic, and provides personalized services in accordance with special requirements, while thoughtfully delivering services to employees. The outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic was raging in 2020. From the first hour, the Center Property Company cooperated with all units to build the headquarters ‘epidemic prevention line’ and protect the staff ‘safety line’. Firstly, through real-time sharing to improve efficiency. The company shared the latest epidemic prevention requirements with employees in real time, and made arrangements in advance to achieve convenience and efficiency. Secondly, by regularly taking the temperatures of all the staff, and providing 24-hour services. Temperature measuring posts and ‘two codes’ inspection posts were set up at each entrance and exit, a 24-hour epidemic prevention telephone was set up at the headquarters to respond at any time of day, and 24-hour services were offered to staff in the observation area. Thirdly, comprehensive disinfection and material supplies were brought in. The company disinfected the building at least three times a day, eliminated dust and disinfected the 80,000 square meters of air conditioning pipes in the headquarters, and provided supplies for epidemic prevention. All staff worked conscientiously with concerted efforts to achieve the significant results of ‘zero infection’, creating a safe headquarters building.

Ⅳ. Smoothing Work Flow and Achieving First-class Management

In order to further improve the work efficiency and service quality, strengthen the system construction, and smoothen out the work process, the company adopted the following two measures. First, simplifying the work process has achieved great things in detailed management. The Center Property Company has improved the business process system, defined job responsibilities, clarified personnel’s division of labor, gradually established a full-coverage rules and regulations with comprehensive coverage to realize detailed management leaving any without blind spots. Guided by the principle of fine-grain processes, the company comprehensively handles every business process including receptions and visitations, so as to achieve all processes with “the simplest procedures, the shortest processing time, the least links, and the highest efficiency”. Second, headquarters site management has been strengthened via a backbone duty system. The backbone inspection supervision system is implemented for the purpose of effectively improving site management level.
