Country Garden Services ‘Patriotic Country Garden Services’ Mode Activates Community Co-governance, the First Renovation Project Turns a Waste Pool into a ‘Children’s Playground’

“Three, two, one...” as guests slowly cut the ribbon, the first renovation project of Country Garden Services ‘Patriotic Country Garden Services’ successfully landed. In Longjiang Country Garden Haoting Residential Estate, a waste pool disappeared and a brand-new ‘children’s playground’ was officially opened instead.

This was a successful practice of Country Garden Services’s exploration together with owners to jointly build a beautiful community. In 2022, Country Garden Services launched the innovative patriotic property service brand ‘Patriotic Country Garden Services’, and took Longjiang Country Garden Haoting as a pilot community. With the support of the Wenhua Community Party Committee, the service brand cultivated a ‘Patriotic Country Garden Services’ volunteer team, through regular visits and researches, to collect typical problems about community public governance and residents’ living requirements, and to hold residents’ meetings to explore residents’ co-governance mode together with the community, jointly creating a beautiful community homeland.

After nearly half a year of practice, the first renovation project of ‘Patriotic Country Garden Services’ was officially completed. On December 11th, the Wenhua Community and Country Garden Services staged the opening ceremony of ‘Patriotic Country Garden Services Children’s Playground’ in the pilot community, sharing their periodical achievement with community residents. Long Jiashen, the secretary of the Wenhua Community Party Committee in Longjiang Town and Neighborhood Committee director; Ye Minzi, the deputy secretary of the Community Party Committee and Neighborhood Committee deputy director; Liang Huifen, Community Party Committee member and secretary of Zhiaileju Branch; Cao Ningchuan, Country Garden Services Assistant President and director of Brand and Customer Experience Research Institute; Huang Weiwei, deputy director of Country Garden Services Customer Experience Research Institute; Jiang Yongqiang, Quality Director of Country Garden Services Jiangzhong/Foshan markets; Liu Yumei, office director of Country Garden Services Jiangzhong/Foshan markets; Tang Aijun, general manager of the Urban Company Around Foshan City in Jiangzhong/Foshan markets; Ye Shulin, manager of Longjiang Country Garden Haoting project; and many volunteer building directors as well as residents participated in this event.

This completed renovation project is located outside the Party Building Corridor in the Haoting Jiujie, originally an abandoned pool. Owing to long-term water accumulation, the pool nurtured many of ‘the four pests’, not only affecting the environment, but also bringing potential security risks for the elderly and children’s daily activities. During the project research, most owners expressed their wishes for the public places renovations, such as “I am looking forward to a slide” and “I want benches for seat”, which have come true without exception.

Recalling bits and pieces of ‘Patriotic Country Garden Services’ team’s efforts, Ye Minzi, the deputy secretary of the Wenhua Community Party Committee in Longjiang Town and Neighborhood Committee deputy director, said in an interview, “the ‘Patriotic Country Garden Services’ project followed the community’s ‘six members with one mind’ consultation mode, mobilized multiple subjects in the community to participate in community co-governance, and promoted the closer relationship between the community neighborhood committee and residents, conducive to the implementation for benefiting owners. Thanks to massive visits and researches conducted by ‘Patriotic Country Garden Services’ volunteers in the first place, we collected more than 300 real views from residents. After careful reviews as well as consultation and discussion with residents and the property management company, we jointly drafted three topics, that is, water features renovation, civilized pet raising, and electric bicycle parking. The first project, the water features renovation, has been successfully completed to date, which demonstrated the positive role of the ‘Patriotic Country Garden Services’ model in community co-governance. As a beneficial supplement to community management, the ‘Patriotic Country Garden Services’ model made its contribution to build a better community. I am looking forward to see Country Garden Services keep pace with the community and continue to develop its volunteer team to provide more contributions to community co-governance.”

It is known that within just half a year, ‘Patriotic Country Garden Services’ brand has cultivated 127 volunteer vanguard service team members, including 31 building directors and information collectors.

Liao Yingping, as one of the first batch of members to serve as a building director and information collector, she said, “It is my great honor to witness the continuous growth of ‘Patriotic Country Garden Services’ volunteer and building director team, and it is so gratifying that I can join the ‘Patriotic Country Garden Services’ volunteer service vanguard to devote my efforts to a better living community. I expect more and more people will join our team to build a better homeland jointly.”

As the manager of Longjiang Country Garden Haoting project, Ye Shulin from Country Garden Services introduced the project achievements in detail, he said, “Longjiang Country Garden Haoting project covers a total area of 254 mu with nearly 2,500 households of inhabitants. The project has been taken over for more than 10 years, whose facilities have been under the renovation period of replacement and upgrade. Due to the the large number of residents, there are diverse opinions on renovation. Besides, the outdated facilities also increased the difficulty of renovation. Nonetheless, the ‘Patriotic Country Garden Services’ pilot project has connected residents, the property company, and the community neighborhood committee, making the relationship between residents and the property company even closer, so that difficult problems could be tackled after consultations, which greatly improved owners’ satisfaction. Next, we will stick to providing quality services while discuss and study other key issues concerned by owners, such as ‘indiscriminate parking of non-motor vehicles’, making efforts to build a better community environment.”
